The UPSC results are out. So many success stories are coming out from this event and every story is unique and inspiring. But out of all these, one story that grabbed my attention is a story of the person who is not an IAS yet but has secured 667 rank and is still preparing for the UPSC exam for a better rank and this years attempt will be his last attempt the 9th attempt.
The story of RAM BHAJAN KUMAR, 34 years old, head constable in Delhi Police. He is a married guy and father of two daughters. While reading the story of this I was so touched and inspired that I felt like sharing it.
He has seen many economical hardships and despite of everything he wants to motivate and help people and according to him UPSC gives that platform to motivate and help people. When he got married his wife was a fifth pass, Time has passed and the best thing is she began the journey of becoming a post graduate. The kind of support and devotion this person showed towards his wife and how they both grew together is such a real motivation. During this journey of his wife he had to convince local people that it is okay to wear school uniform and step out of the house. This power to change the stereotype and breaking the pattern to bring positive change in the society is what we need in todays time.
The takeaway from this story for me is that during the journey of getting what we need we can make real impact by just believing in ourselves. This person has not yet reached his goal, but how during this journey of reaching his goal he has created the example for others to get motivated shows whatever the result may be we can always grow.
